“Our values are our principles and guides. Values are our codes of internal conduct, the principle upon which we run our lives and make our decisions. Our first values are given to us by our parents, and these are added to by those values given to us by our peers, our teachers, the wider community. Our moral values are often sourced from our faith systems. It is from these that we select the principles which rule our lives and our behaviours.

Our values often include universal principles such as truthfulness, honesty, justice, honour, etcetera, etcetera. These principles are often essential for our personal and social survival. Putting things back to front, we can often work out what values are present when we analyze either ourselves or others, for behaviours reveals choices and choices are based on our values. We always choose what is best for us, and best for others. We do this when we are being selfless, putting the good of all first, ahead of our own wishes and desires. This is how social values come into existence and are known.

Our brains are hard-wired to seek the truth. No matter what blueprints are laid down by our families, education and work, we are seekers of Ultimate Truth. What words we put into this varies in time and place, culture and society, but we are all seekers of peace and truth. In saying this, we are not saying we are seekers of ‘extreme’ comfort and pleasure, we are not creatures who seek to reduce others or life to units of rest, pleasure or satisfaction. Ultimate universal concepts drive our lives to discover and embody those concepts within ourselves.

The five human values which ‘should’ be found in all cultures, societies and religions, are Truth, Right Conduct, Love, Peace and Non-violence. These values are eternal; they are eternal essences, which elevate human life to its highest expression, its highest capacity.”

… Just have these few words to share today:

~ You’re alive to be better and greater not less.

~ Let no day pass by without you working and moving towards your biggest DREAM(s)

~ You don’t have to be great before you say or do great things. You become great by saying and doing great things.

~ Not all knowledge and ideas should be kept as success secrets. That is practically hiding development and progress.

~ Life is learning and fun, don’t be afraid to participate.

~ We often get sad only to learn how to be happy again.

On relationships and about us trying to get over someone we love so much in the past, this is what I have to share today:

Don’t try to forget the person, that’s near impossible. Just try to understand it was all for love. And whatever you do for love shouldn’t be a pain but a memory to look back and smile at. Then if you can’t get the person back again, believe you can still love again and when you find someone who treats you better than your past guy/lady, you’ll understand and appreciate love more. Take your time to reach that special someone and hold onto your faith and whatever you believe in.

Remember, if you let your past hurt you, then you’re telling the world that your past is better than your present and Future.

Read about Love in the Bible: 1CORINTHIANS 13:1-13.

I just want to assure us that we can be happy again by opening our hearts to a new light of love coming most times from a direction we least except.
Have a fulfilling day!

The World Today

Words can be very powerful!
Now listen to these words from Charles Chaplain:

“I’m sorry, but I don’t want to be an emperor. That’s not my business. I don’t want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone if possible; Jew, Gentile, black man, white. We all want to help one another. Human beings are like that. We want to live by each other’s happiness, not by each other’s misery. We don’t want want to hate and despise one another. In this world, there is room for everyone, and the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone. The way of life can be free and beautiful, but we have lost the way. Greed has poisoned men’s souls, has barricaded the world with hate, has goose- stepped us into misery and bloodshed. We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in. Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical; our cleverness, hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery, we need humanity. More than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost. The airplane and the radio have brought us closer together. The very nature of these inventions cries out for the goodness in men; cries out for universal brotherhood; for the unity of us all. Even now my voice is reaching millions throughout the world, millions of despairing men, women, and little children, victims of a system that makes men torture and imprison innocent people. To those who can hear me, I say, do not despair. The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed, the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress. The hate of men will pass, and dictators die, and the power they took from the people will return to the people. And so long as men die, liberty will never perish. Soldiers! Don’t give yourselves to brutes, men who despise you, enslave you; who regiment your lives, tell you what to do, what to think and what to feel! Who drill you, diet you, treat you like cattle, use you as cannon fodder. Don’t give yourselves to these unnatural machine men with machine minds and machine heart!
You are not machines, you are not cattle, you are men! You have the love of humanity in your hearts! You don’t hate! Only the unloved hate; the unloved and the unnatural. Soldiers! Don’t fight for slavery! Fight for Liberty! In the seventeenth chapter of St. Luke, it is written that the kingdom of God is within man, not one man, nor a group of men, but in all men! In you! You, the people, have the power to create machines, the power to create happiness! You the people, have the power to make this life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure.
Then in the name of democracy, let us use that power. Let us all unite. Let us fight for a new world, a decent world that will give men a chance to work, that will give youth a future and old age a secuirity. By the promise of these things, brutes have risen to power. But they lie! They do not fulfill that promise. They never will!

Dictators free themselves but they enslave the people. Now let us fight to fulfill that promise. Let us fight to free the world! To do away with national barriers! To do away with greed, with hate and intolerance! Let us fight for a world of reason, a world where science and progress will lead to all men’s happiness. Soldiers, in the name of democracy, let us all unite.”

Have a blessing-filled day!

Be happy today. Achieve something today. Don’t regret today. Make today a day you’ll look back and smile at someday…

Don’t use your energy thinking about what you cannot do. Focus on what you can do and use your energy to do it well for the good of yourself and others.

Honestly, I didn’t even noticed we are already in SEPTEMBER. I was busy expecting the ‘August rain’ to fall at least one more time before the month ends. I still stand grateful to God for everything.

Just like everyday, every new month comes with new opportunities and possiblilities for greater improvements into our existence. These are enough blessings to celebrate everyday, the gift of LIFE.

In fact:
“Today is another special day to thank our Almighty One. Rain or shine, life is beautiful to live with as not everyone is given the chance to enjoy it.”
Relax and enjoy your day.

Happy! Happy!! N-E-W MONTH!!!
